VIP INAUGURAL TEQUILA & MEZCAL TASTING EXPERIENCE
Limited to 50 attendees, this exclusive session will be an immersive sensory journey through the rich heritage and diverse flavors of Mexico’s finest agave spirits. Whether you are a curious beginner or a seasoned connoisseur, this exclusive tasting event will deepen your appreciation for the artistry behind artisanally crafted tequila and mezcal. Guided by Susan Coss, a mezcal educator and advocate, you will explore the distinct differences between tequila and its smoky cousin, mezcal. Learn about the traditional harvesting of agave plants, the impact of regional terroir on flavor profiles, and the intricate distillation processes that shape each unique spirit.
This $85 ticket includes a seated VIP program (from 5:15-6pm), a collectible tasting glass, premium tequila & mezcal tastings at unique downtown locations, delicious bites at some host locations prepared by local chefs and a commemorative guide. Tickets are limited, the price increases to $95 after September 20th, if not sold out.
After the VIP session join the Tequila & Mezcal Stroll (6:00-9:00pm) and walk around downtown Alameda to sample tequilas from local and artisanal brands.
